The Boston Santa Run has been raising funds for local causes since 2018. So far we have managed to hand out over £5600.

​The team behind the scenes are all volunteers. and we strive to bring you a fun day with a new low entry fee of only £8.50.

​The run is getting famous for the fabulous medal, goody bag and of course..... the mince pie at the finish! The Boston Santa Run is building in popularity and the new course introduced last year had many more taking part so we are thrilled that local events company Trident Sports Events have come onboard to oversea things allowing the costs to be kept to a minimum. The entry platform costs amongst other things had risen again in 2024 but thanks to Ben and the Trident team we can keep those costs low.

You don't need to be a runner to take part as it is open to those that want to walk as well! Our Tail-walkers ensure no-one is left behind. Just get involved if you just love Christmas!! Starting and finishing in the Marketplace you run, jog or walk dressed in your favourite Christmas jumper or costume. You will receive a lovely washable reusable plush Santa Hat and your Santa number which gets you your goody bag at the end.

As everyone knows, the Santa Suits are made in China and not only has the cost of the suit increased, the shipping has too so we would rather you keep your money and dress in your own favourite Christmas Jumper or costume. We'll give you a lovely plush reusable Santa Hat so there is no waste and it's kinder to the environment rather than the felt suit which rarely lasts a couple of outings. It also means more can go in your goody bag along with your medal and it costs you less and...you're helping raise funds to help Boston.

The route was new for 2023 to alleviate the need for road closures but everyone still saw our famous landmarks taking in Central Park, Pescod Square, the Marketplace and more. It was given a big thumbs up from all who took part.

​

There's Festive music and fun from Endeavour FM in the Marketplace from 9am, a fabulous warm up from Vicki and the V-Fitness team, the Festive photo frame returns thanks to our Elfie Selfies and free photos for you to save from Sports / Action Photographer David Dales. All proceeds raised from this event helps the community in Boston and the surrounding villages. Tell your friends and come along and get booked in for 2024.
